I am an educator and professional writer with over ten years of experience as a principal and teacher for grades six through twelve, and  have worked extensively with high school students as a college adviser and instructor of literature and writing. As a college adviser, I have mentored students who attended such colleges as UC Berkeley, UCLA, Stanford, MIT, Mills College, and many others.
