As a college adviser, my practice is informed by my belief that:
~ the journey to college acceptance should be a rewarding period of self-reflection and personal growth, and should strengthen the relationship between students and their families at this turning point in their lives
~ educational needs are as individual as our fingerprints: There is no "one-size-fits-all" planning strategy
~ there is more than one "ideal college" out there for every student, if he/she is willing to find it
~ it's important to look beyond the Ivy League and highly publicized college rankings to find best fit schools
~ every student can build exceptional applications that will attract the interest of admissions officers
~ college is just the first step in building a rewarding, fulfilling life and career.
